Mr. Williams as Chief Operating Officer has overall operational responsibility for all of Harbert Realty Services’ business lines and services. Mr. Williams has extensive real estate experience in development, consulting and corporate real estate as an industry participant since 1988. Prior to joining Harbert Realty Services he was with Ford Motor Land, the corporate real estate division of Ford Motor Company, where he had strategic and operational responsibilities for both their corporate and investment properties on a global basis. Mr. Williams has expertise in valuation, site selection, operational and REIT consulting, developed while employed with Arthur Andersen’s Real Estate Services Group in Atlanta. Mr. Williams holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Real Estate Finance from Georgia State University.
Philip Salyers

Mr. Salyers is a long time veteran of the real estate industry with corporate, investment, due diligence, research and valuation experience. For Harbert, he works primarily with Regions Bank. Prior to joining Harbert, Mr. Salyers was President of MetroAnalytics, a firm specializing in due diligence and valuation assignments. Mr. Salyers holds both the MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute.
Wendy Krepak

Wendy Krepak has been a Commercial Real Estate professional for 25 years representing owners such as Regions Bank, MetLife, Illinois Teachers, General Electric, Principal Financial and Aetna. Prior to joining Harbert, Wendy worked for Advantis, a St. Joe Company, where she was the Senior Director of Office Services. Having been involved in a multitude of transactions including Investment Sales, Tenant Rep, Building Leasing, Property Management, Site Acquisition, Land Sales and Retail Development and Leasing, Wendy’s expert market knowledge, coupled with her unique skill set, enables her to help her clients develop creative strategies, make informed decisions, and maximize profitability. Wendy is a past Board Member of NAIOP, an active member of ICSC, and a CCIM candidate.
George Elliott

Mr. Elliott primarily serves Regions Bank in eleven states and the panhandle of Florida. Having previously worked for Taylor & Mathis and Colonial Properties, Mr. Elliott has experience in real estate sales, leasing and property management, as well as development and re-development since 1995. After graduating from The University of the South — Sewanee, Elliott worked for Strickland Paper Company, where he rose to the position of Chairman over a twelve-year career. While at Strickland, he gained a great deal of practical experience in industrial and distribution real estate and development.
George McKenney

Mr. McKenney joined HRS in the fall of 2006 to open the Atlanta office. Since joining HRS, he has acquired over $6 million of retail sites for Regions Bank and in 2007 completed a disposition assignment for AT&T of a BellSouth real estate asset valued at over $10 million. Prior to joining HRS, he spent over 20 years with Carter & Associates (now called CARTER), a large southeastern regional real estate firm, based in Atlanta. Prior to Carter & Associates, Mr. McKenney had similar responsibilities for the office building portfolio of MEPC American Properties, a large British based real estate company with its U.S. headquarters in Dallas, TX. Mr. McKenney received a B.S. degree from Auburn University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Advisory Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Office & Industrial Parks (NAIOP), and on the Board of Directors of Lifespan Resources.
Michael Murray

Mr. Murray specializes in National Real Estate Management for Harbert’s Corporate Services Group. He is responsible for the management and expansion of real estate portfolios for regional and national clients with locations across the country and the world. Mr. Murray’s business experience includes financial services, real estate finance and real estate transactional work, most recently handling the office portfolio for a reputable, private real estate investment company based in Birmingham. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Auburn University, and is an active member of ICSC. He is a CCIM candidate.

Mr. Krepak’s career has extended more than 30 years in commercial real estate, most of which he spent working with CB Richard Ellis and the Trammell Crow Company. Mr. Krepak has participated in more than 1100 sale and lease transactions totaling over $800 million, comprising office, industrial, retail and investment properties. Mr. Krepak has been recognized as a leader in production being ranked #1 or in the “Top Five” at CB Richard Ellis on numerous occasions during his career. Mr. Krepak is one of the most respected and successful brokers in the Central Florida area, having been recognized as a leader in production in various brokerage offices, being ranked #1 or in the “Top Five” on numerous occasions during his career. Mr. Krepak provides superior market knowledge and financial underwriting ability to his clients. Throughout his career, Mr. Krepak has successfully provided extensive qualitative analysis with significant cost savings for his clients leading to numerous repeat assignments. Eric Massey

Mr. Massey has responsibility for the largest region of a $4.5 billion,
2,200-location corporation. At peak volume, annual assignments numbered
220, with a resultant transaction value of $28 million. Prior to joining
Harbert, Mr. Massey worked for Daniel Corporation, Saks Incorporated,
and Regency Development. During a seventeen-year tenure with Daniel,
he progressed through successively increased financial and operational
positions. This culminated in the full strategic and operational responsibility
for half of the company’s office and retail portfolio, consisting
of over $60 million of investment real estate. He also had responsibility
for Daniel’s lead corporate service client, a regional $30 billion
bank. Mr. Massey earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University
of Alabama at Birmingham and his MBA from Samford University.

Ms. Brown manages the Lease Administration Department of the Corporate Services Group. She is responsible for the management and expansion of lease portfolios for both regional and national clients. Ms. Brown’s business experience includes financial services, marketing and corporate legal counsel. Prior to working at Harbert, Ms. Brown worked as an attorney for a reputable firm in Birmingham serving corporate clients. She received her BA from Auburn University and holds both a Juris Doctorate and an MBA from the University of Alabama.

Mr. Taylor manages Harbert’s restaurant & retail services division, of the Corporate Services Group. He is responsible for tenant representation & site selection for a wide stable of brands, both national and regional, with a particular focus on emerging restaurant concepts. He has experience representing corporate clients, and both franchisees and franchisors, helping the latter to streamline their real estate goals in an effort to make their site requirements consistent over a national or regional basis. Over the course of his career, Mr. Taylor has assisted numerous clients in achieving their strategic objectives, from multiple site roll-outs to straight lease and sale projects. Mr. Taylor began his career with CB Richard Ellis, after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Hampden-Sydney College.

Mr. Cullen joined Harbert Realty Services in 2007. Prior to his career at HRS, he was a Franchise Real Estate Director for Sonic Drive-In Restaurants. His career began in shopping center management and leasing and in 1977 he specialized in site selection for Waffle House, National Convenience Stores, Mrs. Winners, Po Folk’s, Long John Silver’s, Arby’s, Studio Plus Hotels and Sonic Drive-Ins. Mr. Cullen currently works exclusively with Regions Bank administering site acquisition. He received a BBA from the University of Georgia in Business Management. Mr. Cullen serves on the Board of Monroe Harding Children’s Home.
Tanner Sumners

Mr. Sumners specializes in leasing and research for the Marketing Division. Prior to joining Harbert in 2003, he practiced real estate in Montgomery, Alabama. Besides acting as a tenant rep Mr. Sumners is also responsible for the leasing of several multi-tenant office buildings in both the Birmingham and Montgomery, Al. markets comprising over 650,000 square feet. Mr. Sumners received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and is a member of the National Association of Realtors.

Mr. Baxter began his real estate career in 2003 at a Dallas based company, specializing in tenant representation for national companies such as Regions Bank, Terminix, and FedEx. He has also worked locally in the Birmingham market with a medical office development and property management firm, Johnson Development. Mr. Baxter has experience in real estate sales, leasing, and property management. He is responsible for site selection, acquisition, and leasing for various Harbert clients. Ms. Stewart joined Harbert Realty Services in 2008. Kat will be working with the various groups to produce and promote new business opportunities for Harbert. Prior to her work at HRS she was with Ingram & Associates as a sales and marketing agent on the City Federal condominium project in Downtown Birmingham. Ms. Stewart began her career in real estate as an independent agent for RE/MAX Advantage in Virginia. She brings Harbert experience in business development, sales and marketing and is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Alabama. Ms. Stewart obtained a B.A. in Communication from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia in 2000.
