A ground breaking was held for The Station at Savannah Quarters– a 244 apartment community with one-, two- and three-bedroom units across four floors. The project is being developed by Birmingham-based Tynes Development. Tynes Development recently closed on a purchase of approximately 10.67 acres of land in the Savannah/Pooler area. Casey Howard, VP at Harbert Realty Services, represented Tynes Development in the purchase. The project will sit in the heart of the larger Savannah Quarters, a 2,588-acre master planned community with townhomes, apartments, single family homes, and several commercial components as well. The complex will also feature an elevator, granite countertops, spacious closets and walk-in showers. The site will also include a pool area, electric charging stations and a fitness center. The first building, which will feature about 80 units, is expected to be completed by fall. Additional buildings and clubhouse space will be delivered in 2019.
