Mr. Lynch joined Harbert Realty Services in 1993 as Executive Vice President with responsibility for our Southeastern portfolio. In 1993, Mr. Lynch was involved in the acquisition of real estate in Sweden for Harbert Realty, as well as other investment properties throughout the United States. In January of 1999, Mr. Lynch was named President and CEO of Harbert Realty. Prior to joining the company, he worked for seven years as Vice President in charge of the Birmingham region for Carter and Associates, an Atlanta based real estate Company. Mr. Lynch is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham

All company accounting and financial functions are directed by Mary C. Echols. Ms. Echols joined HRS in 1991 as Controller and is responsible for all financial reporting, cash management, budgeting/projections, and internal controls for the corporation and all managed properties. Prior to working at HRS she was controller for Daniel Corporation for ten years. Mary brings to HRS extensive real estate accounting experience along with three years in public accounting. Mrs. Echols received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (1983) and achieved her CPA certification in 1985. Mary serves as a member of HRS Executive Committee and is on the Board of Directors of the HERO Foundation, a charitable organization formed by Harbert employees with the purpose of granting financial assistance to area families in need.

Ms. Caldwell joined Harbert Realty Services in 1997 as Property Manager and currently oversees three downtown Birmingham office buildings totaling approximately 930,000 square feet. In recognition of her many achievements, Shannon was promoted to Senior Property Manager in 2007. Prior to joining Harbert Realty Services, she worked for Carter & Associates and ARES, Inc., a property management subsidiary of Mutual of New York. Shannon is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate & Urban Development
