Groundbreaking Ceremony Held at New McCraney Headquarters in Winter Park

A groundbreaking event was held at the site of the new ±30,000 square foot, three-story, Class A office and retail building at 1100 North Orange Avenue in the heart of Winter Park, Florida. The building will be prominently located on the Orange Avenue Gateway into historic downtown Winter Park, adjacent to the City of Winter Park’s new Seven Oaks Park.  The second and third floor office spaces will offer exceptional elevated balcony park views. The first floor will feature retail bays with prime visibility along South Denning Drive. The property also boasts a generous 102 surface parking spaces, making it one of Winter park’s best parking options.

McCraney Property Company closed on the ±1.88 acre property in early 2024 and plans to move their headquarters to the site. “We believe this site will mark a pivotal step in the evolution of the Orange Avenue corridor. Aligned with the soon-to-be-completed Seven Oaks Park, McCraney remains committed to advancing initiatives that enhance the economic vitality and overall quality of life within our city.” Since its founding in 1989, McCraney property Company has grown to be one of the most active developers of high-finish industrial real estate – e-commerce fulfillment and distribution facilities – and private acquisition in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina’s major markets. Over the past 35 years, McCraney Property Company has stayed ahead of the curve through its platform of speculative development, which has resulted in its rapid growth and positioned the enterprise to thrive in today’s emerging markets. Currently, the company has more than 17 million square feet of active speculative industrial projects under some form of development or in the pipeline.

The development team includes Hunton Brady Architects, Welbro Building Corporation, LandDesign and Harbert Realty Services. Harbert’s Damien Madsen and Josh Smith will be spearheading the leasing efforts for the project. “This will undoubtedly be the most spectacular new building in Winter Park. This building represents a Winter Park renaissance/a revival.” View the flyer for more information: https://www.harbertrealty.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/1100-N-Orange-Ave-Flyer.pdf
