A Papa Murphy’s franchisee has signed a five-year deal with The University of Alabama Athletic Department as the sole concessionaire for pizza.
During football season, Papa Murphy’s will have the opportunity to sell freshly-baked slices of pizza at Bryant Denny stadium to over 100,000 fans for seven home games in the fall, and at the A Day game in the spring. In addition, there will be two Papa Murphy’s concession stands outside the stadium in the Fan Zone and at least two concession stands inside the stadium. Papa Murphy’s will deliver to the luxury suites and use walking vendors to sell inside the grandstands. Papa Murphy’s is also the exclusive pizza concessionaire for Talladega Super Speedway.
The franchisee is already in the Birmingham, Huntsville and Muscle Shoals markets and is looking to expand into other Alabama markets. Lacey Scott of Harbert Realty is providing tenant representation services for the Papa Murphy’s franchisee.
