A Florida-based home automation company has acquired 5875 and 5889 Old Leeds Road in Irondale for its new location in Birmingham. Charlie Norton, leasing and brokerage associate at Harbert Realty Services, represented the buyer in the transaction.
The company is currently reconfiguring the space for its design showroom and corporate offices. Led by Scott Allen, CEO and founder of Innovative Sight & Sound, the company is a division of The Innovative Group, which is based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
“It is always fun working with great people like Scott and really looking forward to watching Innovative Sight & Sound create a presence in Birmingham,” Norton said. “This purchase was a huge step in the right direction and this building and location will provide a platform for success in the local market.”
The seller was Michael K. Cruce of Talladega, who was represented by Edwin Moss and Jake Bottcher of J.H. Berry & Gilbert Inc.
