April 25, 2018– Birmingham, AL – Harbert Realty Services’ Casey Howard represented the landlord, R & R Investments, LLC, at Heights Village, a retail center in the Cahaba Heights submarket of Vestavia Hills, in a deal with ‘Lette Macarons. ‘Lette will occupy space in the 48,245 square foot retail center, alongside other retailers including Starbucks, Regions Bank, True40 Studio, Foodbar, Manhattan South and Swanky Stork, to name a few.
“We are thrilled to have ‘Lette Macarons choose Heights Village as their very first Alabama location. They have such amazing, unique product that we believe will be exceptionally successful in the Alabama market. Cahaba Heights continues to make a name for itself as a foodie and retail submarket served by all of the families/residents living in and around the area….and with the benefit of award-winning school systems present, I think we’ll only continue to see the area attract new businesses like this. From Fresco Mexican Moderna to Tru40 Studio recently opening in our center, as well as a multitude of other new businesses opening in the Cahaba Heights area, the gross sales from the community’s businesses have trended up consistently over the past five to ten years,” Howard stated.
This marks the first Alabama location for the California-based franchise. Lovelette LLC is the franchisee for the new Vestavia location. ‘Lette, founded in 2007 by owner Paulette Koumetz in Beverly Hills, CA, specializes in specialty macarons and shortbread cookies. Lovelette LLC stated that they are “happy to bring a piece of Paris to Alabama by offering a kaleidoscope of flavorful French macarons.”
