Bandwagon, a retail sports boutique, has announced its second retail location coming to Cahaba Heights in the summer of 2023.
Bandwagon was founded in January of 2021 and is currently located in downtown Homewood. The retail boutique serves its customers with sports equipment, community branded apparel and athleisure wear. The Cahaba Heights location will expand Bandwagon’s footprint to serve more Birmingham communities, in addition to its Homewood location.
“We are thrilled to be joining the Cahaba Heights community,” David Knight said about the new location. “We’ve had our eyes on this area since the day we opened our business. The new location will allow us to grow in a tremendous way and serve a much broader customer base. This growth opportunity is the first of several big steps we will take in 2023.”
Bandwagon will be located in the Heights Village in between Manhattan South and the Smocking Bird.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the warm reception from the merchants and the management at the Heights Village,” Leah Knight said. “We can’t wait to partner with the Cahaba Heights Merchants Association and the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce to grow with what is already a great community of retailers!”
Bandwagon was represented by Shannon Waltchack and Harbert Retail’s Casey Howard represented the landlord of the Heights Village. The Heights Village is owned and operated by Metropolitan Properties.
