With over 30 years of experience, Damien Madsen is a prominent local commercial real estate broker with a vast repertoire of knowledge in nearly all facets of the trade. Madsen provides extensive expertise in office and retail leasing, landlord and tenant representation, investment sales, and general commercial real estate services. Madsen is Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Harbert Realtyâs Florida region. He brings a wide-ranging network of owners, tenants, investors, and market participants with him and has helped drive Harbertâs growth and brand awareness in Florida. Madsen has completed nearly 7 million SF of transaction volume valued at $2 billion over his career. He is a leader in the Central Florida commercial real estate arena and consistently, year-over-year, finishes in the top 1% of all commercial real estate brokers in Central Florida. Â Since Madsen grew up in Central Florida, went to UCF and is now raising a family in Winter Park his collection of varied relationships has elevated his commercial real estate career.
Prior to joining Harbert, Madsen served as Senior Vice President, Office Brokerage for Lincoln Property Company. Madsen started his career in 1990 with Harbert as Director of Leasing and moved through a series of progressively responsible commercial real estate roles during the 1990s.
Madsen holds a bachelorâs degree in finance from the University of Central Florida.
Damien is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, NAIOP Board of Governors, a role he has held since 2006. NAIOPâs Central Florida chapter has named him âOffice Broker of the Yearâ four times, in 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2010. He is a member of the Central Florida Planning Group and recently established the Masters Council for top commercial real estate brokers in Central Florida, an exclusive organization of the top brokers in Orlando.
