John Tally

John Tally has been practicing commercial real estate in the Birmingham market since 2012. He joined Harbert Realty Services in 2020 as a Leasing and Brokerage Associate. His primary focus is selling and leasing buildings in Downtown Birmingham, historic redevelopment, investment sales, and sourcing 1031 exchange opportunities. John has been involved in numerous notable transactions throughout his career and is a three time nominee for the Birmingham Business Journal Commercial Real Estate Deal of the Year, most recently in 2023.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Harbert Realty, John worked with Red Rock Realty Group and Plott & Company in the Birmingham area.

Education

John is a 2000 graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in Business Administration, and he started his professional life in the transportation and logistics business before migrating to the commercial real estate industry.
