Two Harbert Realty deals have been named as one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s CRE Deals of the Year for 2021. Congratulations to all those involved in these key transactions!
Casey Howard, Vice President at Harbert Retail, represented the Seller in the acquisition of a historic 3-property portfolio located at 1705-1711 1st Avenue North. The portfolio included: a 17,662sf building at 1711 1st Ave. North, a 36,075 sf building at 1709 1st Avenue North and a surface parking lot at the corner of 17th Avenue North and 1st Avenue North.
Artisan Flats will be a Class-A community located in the Lakeview District, one of Downtown Birmingham’s most vibrant and sought-after neighborhoods. The project will feature top of the market unit finishes and community amenities. The development will be located at 2722 5th Avenue South, ideally situated within short walking distance to both Lakeview and Pepper Place. Harbert Realty will be the developer in the deal. CBI Construction Services, Fifth Dimension Architecture and Interiors, Caprine Engineering, Renta Urban Land Design, Bhate, and Building and Earth Sciences are also key players in the development. Artisan Flats will provide a boutique, tailored experience for renters in one of Birmingham’s most sought after submarkets.
